Google unveiled Android Wear a couple of months back with LG and Motorola announcing their smartwatches based on it, on the very same day. However, little is known about what features Android Wear will offer and how its UI will look and function. Today, thanks to the folks over AppDated, we finally get to have our first look at Android Wear in action on a smartwatch. They somehow managed to get their hands on the LG G Watch and have recorded a detailed video showing off the watch and Android Wear running on it....

On Thursday, Trustwave cybersecurity researcher Diana Lopera said the spyware is being concealed in Microsoft Compiled HTML Help (CHM) files to avoid detection in email spam campaigns. Vidar is Windows spyware and an information stealer available for purchase by cybercriminals. Vidar can harvest OS & user data, online service and cryptocurrency account credentials, and credit card information. While often deployed through spam and phishing campaigns, researchers have also spotted the C++ malware being distributed through the pay-per-install PrivateLoader dropper, and the Fallout exploit kit....

On Wednesday, the tech giant published a security advisory warning of vulnerabilities in its enterprise software. The products impacted are VMware Workspace ONE Access, VMware Identity Manager (vIDM), VMware vRealize Automation (vRA), VMware Cloud Foundation, and vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager. The first vulnerability is CVE-2022-22954, impacting VMware Workspace ONE Access and Identity Manager. CVE-2022-22954 is described as a server-side template injection RCE and has been issued a CVSS severity score of 9....

At PyCon 2022, the annual conference for its community of “Pythonistas” – and the first in-person meet-up for Python contributors since 2019 due to the pandemic – developers revisited the idea of running Python code in the browser. In the browser, Python hasn’t supported compilation to the WebAssembly (Wasm) runtime, a widely supported IC3 web application standard that compiles code written in Rust, C, C++, and Go into a binary format, which allows web apps to act more like a desktop application outside the browser....
