The Earbuds Neo features a rounded design for the outer shell and comes in two colorways: Moonlight White and Starry Blue, whereas, the earbuds themselves appear to have a somewhat similar design as the Apple’s offerings. Put together with the charging case, the earbuds come in at 45.7g, while the earbuds themselves come in at 4.7g. The earbuds come with IP54 certification, and the case is claimed to be 2nd-level water-resistant. Talking about connectivity, the Earbuds Neo utilizes Bluetooth 5.2, with dual-channel transmission 2.0, that allows the earbuds to receive signals from the connected device on both earpods. Vivo suggests that its latest offerings offer an 88ms of latency to prevent the audio-video lag, something that a lot of wireless earbuds struggle with. Moving to the earbuds themselves, there is a 14.2mm driver unit, with the usual 20-20,000Hz frequency response as seen on most earphones/headphones across the board, in general. Like most TWS earbuds these days, the offerings from Vivo also come with capacitive touch controls, ear detection, and smart assistant features. In terms of battery, the Vivo Earbuds Neo comes with a 400mAh battery on the charging case, and 25mAh battery for each earbud. The charging case comes with a USB Type-C port, and as per Vivo, it takes ~45 min to charge the earbuds and ~100 min to charge the charging case. Moreover, when it comes to battery life, the company suggests up to 4.5 hours of listening with AAC codec and 2.9 hours of battery with aptX Adaptive.
