Vivo V17: Design and Display
The Vivo V17 features a 3D glass back design with a gradient finish. Towards the front, it has a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340 × 1080 pixels screen resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone provides a 91.38% screen-to-body ratio and includes a punch-hole cutout to house the front camera. Vivo says the punch-hole on the Vivo V17 is the world’s tiniest punch-hole cutout at 2.98mm, which makes it barely noticeable while consuming content. It comes in two color options: Midnight Ocean, Glacier Ice.
Vivo V17: Performance
At its core, the V17 is powered by an 11nm octa-core Snapdragon 675 processor with Adreno 612 GPU, coupled with 8GB of LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It includes a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging and runs on Funtouch OS 9.2 based on Android 9.0 Pie. As for other hardware specifications, the phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and supports dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, and Bluetooth 5.
Vivo V17: Camera
In the camera department, the V17 sports a quad-camera setup with an LED flash. The setup includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP portrait sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP for macro with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture housed in a hole-punch cutout.
