Vredestein Tire Limited Warranty.
Vredestein tire limited warranty states that the warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser of the product bought from an authorized dealer or store in the United States, and Canada. The warranty also states that a replacement of the Vredestein tire that was installed will be done on vehicles used for personal, household, and/or family purposes.
The limited tire warranty includes the following coverages;
30-Day Trial Period.
If a client for any reason is not satisfied by the following Vredestein tires; Ultrac Vorti+, Ultrac Vorti R+, Sprint Classic or Sprint+, Quatrac 5, Quatrac, Quatrac Pro, Snowtac 5 Wintrac, and Wintrac Pro tire design installed in their vehicle, they may return them to the store or dealer they purchased the tires from within 30 days, 500 miles (804km) traveled after purchase or the loss of tread depth of 2/32” (1.59 mm) from the day of purchase for a full refund.
100- Day Trial Period.
If a client for any reason is not satisfied by the following Vredestein tire brand; Pinza At Lt, Pinza Ht P-Metric, Pinza At P-Metric, Pinza Ht Lt, Hitrac, and Hypertrac tire designs, they may return them to the store or dealer they purchased the tires from within 100 days, 1000 miles (1610km) traveled after purchase or the loss of tread depth of 2/32” (1.59 mm) from the day of purchase for a full refund.
Mileage Tread-Wear Coverage.
For a set of four wheels of the Vredestein tires on the same vehicle that has reached the end of the usable tread life before the accompanying miles are been reached, Vredestein gives credit on a set of new Vredestein tires that is equal to the cost of the new tire for the difference between the kilometers warranted.
For one to claim this coverage your tires must be rotated every 6000 miles (9,956 km) or as recommended by the manufacturer of the vehicle and one must submit proof of rotation and maintain it upon request
Road Hazard Replacement Program.
If a vehicle suffers non-repairable damage due to road hazards such as puncture, snag, cuts, and bruises before the end of 1 year or loss of depth of 1.59 mm from the date of purchase, Vredestein installs a new set of four tires free of charge. The following tire brands are covered under this warranty; Pinza At P-Metric, Pinza Ht P-Metric, Quatrac 5, Quatrac, Quatrac Pro, Ultrac Vorti+, Ultrac Vorti R+, Snowtrac 5, Wintrac, Wintrac Pro, Hitrac, and Hypertrac.
Warranty for Defects in Workmanship and/or Materials.
Failure of Vredestein tires or any of its parts due to defects in materials and/or workmanship or loss of depth of 1.59 mm, Vredestein will issue a new tire but only if it is within a year from the date of purchase.
If a tire fails due to poor materials and/or workmanship after the first year from the date of purchase, Vredestein will charge an amount equal to the original purchase price of the product. The charge may be applied against the purchase price of the new Vredestein tires.
The Vredestein limited tire warranty does not cover the following;
Cost and/or taxes incurred during the inspection, attempt to repair, removal, replace, mount, balance, and/or labor charges of any covered tires. One is fully responsible to pay the costs and taxes. Tires that are damaged as a result of misuse or misapplication. Tires used in racing or competition activities. Mechanical problems. Warranty claims made after the expiration of the period of 8 years will not apply.
How does one claim the Vredestein tire warranty?
To make a warranty claim for tires that are defaulted either due to defects in materials and/or workmanship, one can contact the dealer from which the purchase was made.
If the dealer no longer exists or no longer has dealings in Vredestein tires, one can contact the Vredestein offices, and one may be required to sign a form supplied by the dealer or Vredestein.
Who is covered under Vredestein’s limited tire warranty?
The original purchaser of the product is the only one covered by Vredestein’s limited tire warranty and it is non-transferable nether can it be extended to cover purchasers who are not consumers of the product i.e. commercial entities.
