VUDU allows a refund for any of their services if there’s a case of technical error, poor quality, or malfunction with their movies.
Issues eligible for refund
Incomplete content/Dissatisfaction: If a customer stopped watching a movie before the end or immediately after it started, as a result of incomplete content or dissatisfaction, VUDU will give a refund. Faulty Video/Disc: A disc or video might be reported faulty as they refused to function at all. Such an issue will be considered for a refund with VUDU. Internet Fraud: There are cases where customer accounts are hacked by unknown users. So, if a customer reports that an unknown person accessed their account, VUDU will consider them for a refund.
The following issues/complaints will not get a refund with VUDU.
Technical issue: A video might refuse to play. Not necessarily because of the content, but due to a malfunction with the player device. VUDU will, therefore, not give a refund. Incompatibility: Some devices might not support some or all of VUDU movies Such an issue will not be considered for a refund. Violation of terms and conditions: Terms and conditions are guiding VUDU services that customers are meant to be familiar with. Any form of violation of these terms and conditions is capable of limiting a user from getting a refund. Dissatisfaction with your video: A customer might not like the content after watching them. This is already a finished business, so VUDU will not consider such a case for a refund.

How to get a Refund via email?
Go to the VUDU website. Navigate to the support option located at the bottom of the web page. Choose the email option. Then, fill in your full name and email address in the space provided. Then explain the problem in detail in the space provided.
When you click continues, a reference number will be generated automatically. You can always track the progress of your query with that reference number. This might take up to 30 days depending on the nature of the problem.
How to get a Refund via Phone?
This is the quickest way to get a refund. The customer will have to call the customer care service number “(888) 554-VUDU (8838)”, which is also available on the contact page of their website. You can reach out and report your problem to them while you follow the procedure. Refunds are processed within 5-10 days.

VUDU rental refund/Redo
VUDU provided a new policy for rental movies, that allows customers to return a movie on a rental that hasn’t been watched for 30 minutes. If there’s any form of dissatisfaction, the customer will receive a refund if VUDU was contacted within 24 hours. In the case of redo, a customer will prefer a switch to a different video altogether. To apply for this refund, simply call the customer care number to lay your complaint. Once you are eligible, you get a refund that same day. The process could last between 5-10days.
